What is ROAK?

ROAK (Royal Oak or Royal Optimized Automated Knowledge) is our next-generation IoT platform where we offer our data services. ROAK is an important strategic pillar for the growth we envision in data and total solutions, delivering enhanced features, higher performance, and future-proof technology.

What services are available in ROAK?

Today, ROAK includes services such as Monitoring While Drilling and a full suite of water solutions – including quality, flow, precipitation, and groundwater monitoring with – the option to add custom devices. In upcoming releases, CPT and additional Royal Eijkelkamp sensors will be integrated into the platform.

How is the pricing for ROAK determined?

Pricing depends on the product combinations you select within the platform. For an accurate quote, please contact us—our team will provide licensing details tailored to your needs. Pricing is only linked to the products themselves; there are no per‑user charges or limits on the number of active users.

Can I request a demo of the ROAK platform?

Yes. Request a quote and our team will reach out to schedule a demo at a time that suits you.

How do I create an account?

You’ll either receive a direct registration link from us, or an existing user can invite you to their ROAK environment. You’ll then receive an email—click the link to create your account and access the platform.

My invitation has expired, what do I do?

Ask a user with User Management rights to resend your activation email, or contact us and we’ll resend it for you.

I have lost access to my account, what do I do?

If you’ve forgotten your password, use Forgot Password on the ROAK login page.
If you no longer have access to your email, please reach out via the contact form.

How do I use the ROAK platform?

Can I use my own platform for the data in ROAK?

Yes. Our APIs let you retrieve your data from ROAK and use it in other platforms or workflows. More information is available in the API documentation.

My device has stopped working or ROAK is no longer showing updated data , what do I do?

Please send an email to support@roak.com with a description of the issue and detailed device information. We’ll help you troubleshoot and resolve it.

I have a custom device, can ROAK support it?

Yes—if your device can send data via MQTT and you can format the payload to ROAK standards.
